I would first of all want to thank the authors for reporting the results of this study. New PD solutions are an important topic currently in the field of peritoneal dialysis and it"s my opinion that more reports are needed to confirm the benefits of these solutions as compared to the conventional solutions. 

Although it is not described as an endpoint in the current study, I am very much interested whether there were any differences in peritonitis rates between the two groups in this study. 

Furthermore, I would like to know what the median duration of follow up was in the 178 patients.
