Rituximab (RTX) seems to be a promising strategy in steroid dependent idiopathic nephrotic syndrome (SDNS) since several years. RTX induces profound depletion of circulating B-cells, suggesting hypogammaglobulinemia (defined as IgG 6 g/L) as a potential side effect after long-term treatment.
